His technique thrilled the world, and every detail is accurately done.
German artist Tim Bengel developed his unique style of painting, using two unusual materials – sand and gold.
On a sticky empty canvas, Tim creates a pattern with a black sand and gold (which may take weeks), and then, he fills the rest with white sand.
When Bengel dismisses the remaining sand – the picture appears. Together with his friends he made a project that when combined provides phenomenal image of the city.
At first glance, no one is clear on how they managed to make something like this, but there is no doubt that it takes time and patience to make every detail immaculately painted.
Enjoy their magic!
