Flavio Salsano is an Amsterdam-based illustrator who uses shadows of everyday objects to serve as the foundation of his work.

Then, he adds just a few minor details, perhaps a little bit of text, and soon he has a finished product that looks cute.

I personally love it, now that’s using the imagination. Way to go you, it’s very original and adorable!

I wouldn’t mind watching his illustrations all day, somehow they have a calming effect, who would’ve thought that shadows could be used in this innovative way.
