Not many people know sign language, and not being able to communicate with others who are deaf is a big language barrier, having a normal conversation can be very difficult unless you’ve learned to read lips.

This loving grandma signs to her small grandchild. And you can notice the smile on the girl’s face, she may not understand what is going on, but the level of engagement she is showing is there.
