Adolf Hitler was a German politician who was the leader of the Nazi Party, Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and Führer (“Leader”) of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945.
Some time in his early adulthood, he worked as a casual labourer and eventually as a painter, selling watercolours of Vienna’s sights. The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna rejected him in 1907 and again in 1908, citing “unfitness for painting”.
If he had been accepted by the academy, world history would have been much different.
