One duck was nesting and laid her eggs in the quadrangle in the middle of the Willerby Carr Lane Primary School in Hull, East Yorkshire.
The school’s head teacher, Sean Smith, explained how the mother was nesting and ended up laying her eggs in the quad in the middle of the school.
When the eggs finally hatched, the school administration made sure to create a safe space for the momma duck and her ducklings in order to get around.
School groundskeeper Kevin thought of a brilliant idea and he sat up that path using classroom and office tables to make sure the ducklings wouldn’t get lost along the way. He even set up a nice little pond for this new happy family.
